Every year,our school has events for Thanksgiving and Diwali. This year,due to our busy schedules,we couldn’t have an event for the celebrations. So,we decided to have a virtual event combining both the celebrations together.
We started off with a speech from Mr Sam explaining the importance of both celebrations. After that,we divided our teachers and students into 2 different teams. Each team had to prepare a presentation about Thanksgiving and Diwali.
Both the teams talked about the rituals,tradition and the importance of the celebration.Indeed,it was a fun and an insightful presentation. After that,we went to our next activity which was callled the Gratitude Round.Everyone had to create a digital card thanking their loved ones. Within 10 minutes,everyone were done. The cards were beautiful and so was the message in it.
